DET School is an official member of the Duolingo English Test Global Partner Network (GPN). However, please note that DET School is an independent educational resource and language school. We are not employees, agents, or representatives of Duolingo, Inc. Our services and preparation materials are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Duolingo® or the Duolingo English Test®. “Duolingo®” and “Duolingo English Test®” are registered trademarks of Duolingo, Inc.
All other content on this website, including the specific teaching methods of DET School, is the intellectual property of Teacher Elena.
2. Class & Refund Policy
To ensure the best quality of service for all students, the following rules apply:
- No Refunds: There is no refund option if prepaid hours or packages are not used.
- Rescheduling: You can reschedule or cancel a lesson free of charge up to 6 hours before the lesson starts. Cancellations made after this 6-hour window will be charged in full.
- Lateness: The teacher will remain in the virtual classroom for the first 15 minutes of a scheduled lesson. If the student does not show up within this time, the lesson will be considered a “no-show” and will be charged.
- Lesson Definition: A “lesson” refers to any previously agreed/scheduled block of time in one day (e.g., 50 minutes or 1 hour and 40 minutes).
3. No Guarantee of Results
While Teacher Elena is a Certified DET Specialist and provides expert coaching, DET School does not guarantee any specific test score or result. Your final score depends on your personal effort, English proficiency, and performance on the day of the test. All materials are provided “as-is,” and students are responsible for verifying the latest test requirements on the official Duolingo English Test website.
4. Data Consent & Dashboard Access
By using any discount code, voucher, link, or service provided by us, you explicitly consent to the following:
- Your test status (e.g., started, completed, certified, or invalid), scores, and related testing data processed on the official Duolingo English Test website may be automatically shared with the school through the official Duolingo Agent Dashboard.
- This data is used solely for administrative purposes, including providing discount coupons, tracking your learning progress, and improving our coaching results.
- You agree that the school may use your test results for promotional purposes (e.g., success stories on our website or social media). To protect your privacy, all personal details will be hidden/blurred, except for your photo, first name and test date, which may remain visible alongside the test scores.
- In the unlikely event of Hacking & Third-Party Breaches: While we take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, DET School cannot guarantee absolute security. You acknowledge that DET School shall not be held liable for any unauthorized access, data breaches, or third-party hacking incidents that occur despite our reasonable security efforts.
